Wendy Van de Poll is a pioneering leader in the field of pet loss grief support and the founder of the Center for Pet Loss Grief. She provides wisdom, joy, and compassion for grief relief in her practice. Wendy is a certified end-of-life and grief coach, pet funeral celebrant, a licensed massage therapist for humans, horses, and hounds, and a tested animal communicator. With a master’s of science in wolf ecology, Wendy has run with wolves in Minnesota, coyotes in Massachusetts, and foxes in her backyard.

Jaimie has always been a bit of an artistic, creative, romantic nomad. She loved drawing with pencil, taking pictures of the world around her and reading romance novels growing up. Kelvin C. Bias (born in Glendora, California) has written for the Los Angeles Times, The Dallas Morning News, The Washington Post and Sports Illustrated, where he has been a reporter since 1995. A journalist for over 20 years, he has traveled the world, and is on a mission to visit all 50 states (40 and counting). He graduated from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, Dept. of Dramatic Writing, with an M.F.A. in Screenwriting in 2000 and received his B.A. in political science from the University of Arizona in 1995. As a scientist and author specializing in technology innovation, H. Peter Alesso has over twenty years research experience at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL). As Engineering Group Leader at LLNL he led a team of computer scientists and engineers in innovative applications across a wide range of supercomputers, workstations and networks.
