How do you deal with writer’s block?
Daniel Sugar: I don’t believe in writer’s block. I’m sure that every day, millions of people around the world don’t want to go to work – but they do. Writers have to do the same thing.
What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Daniel Sugar: I’ve always loved writing so, for me, the best thing about being a writer is the actual, physical act of writing a story. I like to write with a Bic pen. When I’m done, I type everything into my computer. (Another great thing about being a writer is that a lot of people have been contacting me through Facebook and Twitter and telling me that “Salem Burning” is a page-turner and that they can’t put it down and that they think it should be a TV series or a movie. The writing is the best, but receiving amazing messages from readers is an incredible second best!)
