He wants to save the world, but has spent the previous year drinking away his frustration.

Heavy drinking Michaela is angry she got pregnant in high school. She has raised her son alone. Her son’s father and his teenage girlfriend want to re-enter his life. Michaela is trying not to drink or kill them.
